Ballooning across the Sierras is a most amazing way to see the sites from the top down, and with a camera in hand is an experience of a lifetime. The baskets can hold 2 - 6 people and although summer is the most popular, winter is another great time to take a ride, up, up and away. Wind and weather always permitting, the balloons generally fly at sunrise, as the air is cool and conditions are calm during early morning hours.
